Day 696 – November 26th, 2013
Hello, and welcome to the new Sketch of the Day site! Due to the growing size of this project, I felt like it was about time to give it a proper homepage. I’ll still be updating my Tumblr as usual, but the posts on this page will often have extra text accompanying the sketches, and here you’re able to leave comments, which I’m very excited about.
Tumblr has been great for getting my paintings seen, but in order to continue improving as an artist, one needs feedback, discussion and criticism, so I invite you to give me any and all of those things via the comments here! I’ll still be checking my inbox/asks on Tumblr regularly, so if you prefer to use those, don’t worry, but I encourage you to use the public comments here to help get a discussion going.
Since I have full control over this site, let me know if you have any suggestions about features you’d like to see on it. I plan on improving it over time to suit the needs of the project.
It’s been almost two years and I still feel like I’m just getting started with Sketch of the Day. Here’s to the future, and many many many more sketches to come!
